Shinya SENMATSU lives on deer and boars that he traps in the mountains around Kyoto. Others in Japan cull deer and boars as pests. But SENMATSU says things that society discards offer true abundance. This documentary follows SENMATSU during a winter of hunting. It captures every sight and sound of his interactions with the wild creatures that sustain him.
