GREEN IMAGE FILM FESTIVAL participates in the 1st International Forum of Environmental Film Festivals in Portugal
Green Image Film Festival is one of the 38 environmental film festivals from around the world that will participate in the 1st International Forum of Environmental Film Festivals, to be held in Seia, Portugal, from October 13th to 15th.
The Forum, organized by CineEco 2018 and the Green Film Network (GFN), is part of the 24th edition of environment film festival in Portugal, and is supported by Center Portuguese Tourism.
During these three days, the festivals will debate common issues, strengthen ties and promote reflection on the importance of audiovisual platforms that stimulate social and sustainability changes.
This forum will be held with the presence of 38 film festival directors from 28 different countries: Albania, Argentina, Austria, Brazil (3), Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France (3), Germany (3), India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Kosovo, Malaysia, Mexico, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, South Korea, Spain (2), Switzerland, Turkey, United States of America (3) and Portugal.
The presence of international speakers from “these and other countries” will be important to discuss environmental and sustainability issues focused on cinema, communication and art.
The 1st World Forum of Environmental Film Festivals will take place in Seia, Serra da Estrela, a mountainous tourist region associated with nature tourism, local products and cultural events highlighting local cultures.
